Let’s talk about the hair…

Donna: Granted, this photo doesn’t represent the true potential height and spongy-ness of genuine Jersey hair, the hair that came to define an era. However, this photo is from February 2007. Are they relics or fashion mavens with their ears to the trendy ground? The signs are all there: we’ve seen tube tops, leggings, ballerina slippers and leg warmers make their come-back. Can we really be so sure this is not next?

Ali: Posting this on a page designed to encourage people to hang out in New Jersey is like posting a picture of a drive-by on a site encouraging people to hang out in Compton. It’s tragic and promotes stereotypes. I choose to believe that woman is either visiting from Staten Island or was recently thawed out from a cryogenic experiment that began in the 80s. I fought Donna – nearly to the death – to keep this from being published. But as a boxer, she beat me soundly. My kidneys still hurt. Watch your back Madam Executive Editor – you may have beaten me this time, but I’m like Rocky. I come back again, and again, and again, and again…
